About
One team accountable from the database to the ad account
Charliez Services exists because the most expensive problems in a business sit in the gaps between specialists. The developer says it is a marketing problem, the marketer says it is a site problem, and the thing stays broken.
Why the range is deliberate
Covering software, AI, automation and marketing at once sounds like a lack of focus. In practice it is the opposite. A slow site is a marketing problem and an engineering problem at the same time. A campaign that converts badly is often a landing page problem that no campaign manager can fix. An operations team drowning in manual work rarely needs more people, it needs three integrations and a scheduled job.
When one team owns all of those layers, the diagnosis and the fix are the same conversation. There is no ticket handed between vendors, no waiting two weeks for someone else to implement a change that is costing money every day, and no incentive to recommend the service that happens to be for sale.
The range has a limit. This is not a firm that does brand strategy, television, print, public relations or enterprise resource planning implementation. When a project needs something outside the six services listed here, that gets said on the first call.
How the work is priced
Fixed scope work is quoted as a fixed price after a short paid discovery pass. Discovery is paid because it produces something valuable on its own, a written technical assessment you keep whether or not you proceed, and it is credited against the build if you do.
Ongoing work runs as a monthly retainer with an agreed allocation, reviewed quarterly against what you actually need rather than rolled over out of habit. Hourly billing exists for small, well defined maintenance tasks and is the worst option for anything larger, because it rewards slow work.
Google Ads management is a flat monthly fee based on account complexity, never a percentage of spend. A percentage fee pays the manager more for spending more of your money, which is the wrong incentive to build a relationship on.

How we operate
Six rules that decide the awkward calls
Principles are only worth writing down if they cost something. Each of these has turned down work at some point.
Say the number before the work starts
Every fixed scope engagement is quoted as a fixed price after discovery. You know what it costs before you commit, and the number does not move unless you change the scope in writing. Open ended estimates are how projects quietly double.
Refuse the work that will not pay for itself
Some projects should not be built, and some marketing budgets should not be spent. Saying so on the first call costs one engagement and earns the ability to be believed on the next one.
Measure the outcome, not the activity
Deploy counts, keyword positions and impression share describe effort. Enquiries, calls and revenue describe results. Reports lead with the second kind and name what is not working.
Hand over everything
Code, infrastructure, ad accounts, analytics properties and documentation transfer to you. There is no proprietary layer you cannot leave and no charge for access to your own systems.
Do not invent evidence
No fabricated case studies, no borrowed logos, no statistics without a source. If a claim cannot be backed up it does not appear on this site or in a proposal.
Boring technology on purpose
Widely used, well documented, easy to hire for. A stack chosen because it is interesting becomes a liability the moment the person who chose it moves on.
Questions
About the business
How big is the team?
Small and deliberately so. Work is done by the people you speak with rather than passed to a junior team after the sale. When a project needs a specialist skill outside that range, that is said plainly rather than covered up, and a trusted specialist is brought in with your knowledge.
Where are you located?
The business is fully remote and has no office, which is why no address is published anywhere on this site. Clients are across the United States and Canada, and the work happens over video, shared documents and a shared repository. That is not a compromise for this kind of work: code review, automation and search reporting are all things a team does through a screen whether or not anyone shares a building.
What industries do you work in?
Home services, retail and e-commerce, professional services, healthcare adjacent businesses, hospitality and small software companies. The common thread is a business with a real operational problem rather than a particular vertical.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
Most agencies specialise in one layer and refer the rest out, which means the person who diagnoses your problem often cannot fix it. Here the audit finding and the deploy that resolves it come from the same team, and the recommendation is not limited to what happens to be for sale.
Start with the problem, not the service
Describe what is not working. You will get an honest read, including if the answer is that you should not spend money on this yet.
